Energy Weaving with the Wandering Shaman: Quantum Human Design & Shamanic Wisdom - February 2, 2025 - The Sun Enters the Gate of The Narrative/The Earth Enters the Gate of Collaboration

Greetings, friends!  Welcome or welcome back to my podcast where we are exploring the movement of the sun and the earth through the Human Design Chart as well as some Shamanic wisdom to help us along our path.  Today is February 2nd, 2025 and the sun has entered Gate 13 - the Gate of the Narrative, and the earth is in Gate 7 - the Gate of Collaboration.  If you are new to Human Design and/or Shamanism, I highly recommend that you go back and listen to Episode 1 of this podcast.  I give a brief introduction to both concepts there, with a lot of the “lingo” explained.  Or you could read the Introductory blog post on my website, where I also briefly introduce both concepts; it may help you as we move on through the year.  Also, it recently dawned on me that I used traditional Human Design “lingo” instead of the new Quantum language in that episode.  I tend to do that a lot - vacillate between the terminology, so I apologize if it is confusing.  I contemplated redoing the episode, but in keeping with my mantra for the year, “consistency over perfection”, I’ve decided to leave it the way it is and keep pushing forward.  So, with that being said, let’s see what this week has in store for us. 

The Sun in Gate 13 challenges us to forgive the past and redefine who we are each and every day.  Think about that for a moment.  That is a pretty tall order - to redefine ourselves every day.  But we are gifted with a fresh start every 24 hours; we wake up with a clean slate, so we CAN redefine ourselves; we CAN step out of the quicksand of our past that may be dragging us down.  We CAN step out of victim mentality that so often keeps us weighed down and stuck. We can, and if we want to keep moving forward, we must. 

This Gate is located on our G Center, or our Identity Center, which is part of our heart chakra, right in the middle of our bodies.  We won’t be talking a lot about the specifics of the centers in this podcast, but the Identity center is an important one because it is MAGNETIC and what we project from this center is what we get back from the universe. Do you want to attract more of what feels painful and limiting, or would you prefer love, abundance, and joy?  The trick is - we need to calibrate our Identity Center first - our Heart Center - to project what we want to receive.  When we connect to our true selves and align with our heart’s desire, that is what the Universe responds to.  This concept is so so important.  I really invite you to spend some significant time contemplating this this week, and if you feel stuck, reach out.  I’d love to chat with you!

So that leads me to Gate 7, which is also located on the Identity Center.  It is the Gate of Collaboration.  In Quantum Human Design, this gate’s energy centers around leadership.  The challenge is to realize that the voice of the leader is only as strong as the support he/she receives.  So, connecting that with the energy of Gate 13, it will be very hard for us to be adequate and effective leaders if we are stuck in the negative stories of the past.  So I’d like to propose an additional take on this energy of collaboration.  Maybe we need to collaborate with someone to help us get unstuck.  Maybe a good friend, a trusted relative, a therapist, or an energy worker (Hello - check out my offerings!).  Sometimes we need a hand to help pull us out of the quicksand.  That doesn’t mean we are weak; it just means we need a hand.  

So let's see what the Mystic Wanderer's Shamanic wisdom has to offer today. I pulled the Owl card and here's what is says:

A decision lurks upon the horizon, one that has the potential to alter your current course. The options laid out before you are difficult to choose between; they both tug at your heartstrings. This won't be one of those decisions where you know for sure; it will be one that requires more of a leap of faith. Do not rush this. Take the time to understand what each opportunity may offer you and where it will lead you in life; look at all the pros and cons. Some things are worth the wait and effort. Be mindful of instant gratification. Even though one decision may give you what you want quickly, the other one may reap more benefits over time. Whatever you decide, only choose for yourself; do not let ulterior motives, thoughts, or feelings cloud your consideration. My heart is with you, because whichever direction you take, though it may not feel entirely right, it will have the potential to fulfil all you desire or leave you with regrets over time. Choose well.

When I first chose that card and read that, I was really kind of struggling with how that meshed with the energy of the gates that we were talking about. But then, as I thought about it more, I'm going back to that decision within yourself - that decision to leave the past behind - to forgive the past - to start each day with a clean slate. That is a decision that you can make every single day. Also, collaborating with someone - reaching out to someone who might be able to help you get through some of the muck of your past - that is a decision as well. You have the power to decide whether you do it by yourself, whether you do it with someone else, or whether you do it at all. The choice is yours, and as it says, choose wisely.

So as we take all of this energy and wisdom into the next few days, I have some questions to ponder - take what resonates with you and leave the rest.

• What stories about my life am I holding on to?

• Do these stories reflect who I really am and what I want to be creating in this lifetime?

• Who or what do I need to forgive in order to liberate myself and tell a new story?

• Do I need to collaborate with someone to help me release the stories of my past?

• Is there a decision I’ve been wrestling with?  Is it time to make that decision?

• Am I ready to make a choice for myself and my highest good today?

• What might be holding me back from being of true service to others?

• What are my gifts and strengths?

• Write the true story of who you really are.
