Energy Weaving with the Wandering Shaman: Quantum Human Design & Shamanic Wisdom - January 27, 2025 - The Sun Enters the Gate of Attunement/The Earth Enters the Gate of Retelling

Hello everyone and welcome to Episode 2 of my podcast!  It is January 27, 2025, and I’m so glad you’re here!

As I mentioned in the first episode, if you are new to Quantum Human Design, some of the terms I’m using may feel unfamiliar, but don't worry—there’s plenty of information out there to help you get started. A quick Google search will give you a wealth of resources to explore. And, as I mentioned in the intro, we will be focusing on the energetic placements of the sun and the earth, as they move through the gates of the Quantum Human design chart throughout the year. 

These energies represent about 70% of the energy in your chart, making them incredibly powerful forces. When they transit through the various gates in the chart, everyone has amplified access to those energies during that brief time.

The Sun’s energy is all about power, motivation, abundance, and vitality, helping us to align with our purpose and direction. And the Earth’s energy acts as a grounding force, helping us to stay connected and balanced. After we explore both the Sun and the Earth’s influences, we will incorporate some intuitive Shamanic wisdom to enrich our understanding. So, here we go!

Today, the Sun has entered Gate 19, the Gate of Attunement.  This gate brings in a call to tune in to the emotional needs of others and our communities. This energy encourages us to be aware of what those around us require, but there’s a delicate balance to maintain. The challenge lies in helping others without becoming so entangled in their emotions that we lose ourselves or deplete our own energy. To be of true service, we must first take care of ourselves, ensuring that we remain sustainable and able to give from a place of abundance. "You can't pour from an empty cup," as they say.

Adding to this, the Earth is currently in Gate 33, the Gate of Retelling. Gate 33 emphasizes the power of sharing our stories—our personal narratives—from a place of healing, not from the pain of the past.  Both of these gates implore us to take care of ourselves FIRST.

Many of us, myself included, have walked through challenging journeys. These challenges wear many faces…health issues (physical or mental), great losses, physical or emotional abuse, or a host of other life-changing events. After processing the grief, anger, sadness, and trauma, we may then find that we have a story to share, one that could help others during their difficult times.

In this energy, we are encouraged to reflect on our journeys and the lessons we've learned—not to dwell in the wounds of the past, but to express our healing process. How did we get from point A to point B? And please note, you do not need to be completely healed in order to be able to help others, because, are we ever COMPLETELY healed anyway?  Our stories have the potential to help others along their path.  What worked for us may not be the solution for everyone, but, when shared at the right time, with the right person, our experiences can make a profound difference in someone else's life.

When we stay attuned to the energy of the Universe and remain aware of the right timing, our stories will unfold in ways that can help others when they are ready to hear them. In the meantime, it’s important to focus on self-care and healing, so that we can show up as our best selves—supportive and impactful—in our service to others. You never know when a simple word or insight might be exactly what someone else needs to hear at that very moment.

The Mystic Wanderer card that I pulled was the Tree card, and here's what it had to say:

The earth element brings comfort and support. Mother earth has supported the world's growth for our entire existence and will continue to hold you throughout your entire existence. Let your roots dive deep within her and ground your vision, yourself, and your life. There can be no way up without a way down. Your center and focus need to be strong and fierce. Return again and again to mother nature for this reminder. This card symbolizes coming inward and cautions you to stop branching out. Every dream needs a stable base. While you have been expanding and creating connections, your foundation has been giving way under the pressure and heaviness of your branches. It is time to build a stronger foundation and framework. Come back to alignment, back to the original dream. Find you roots and drive them further, deeper into her center. Let yourself refocus, be held, and supported before you begin to expand once more.

I think this guidance is crucial, and so appropriate for these energies. The attunement energy is asking you to tune in to the emotional needs of those around you and in your community, but doing so in a way that keeps you self-sustained. Then, the retelling energy - giving of yourself - telling your story when the timing is right - when people are willing to hear it - when people are able to hear it - but again, coming from a place of "groundedness" when you, yourself have healed. So when you find yourself with too many of your branches out way too far, pull them back in. Come back to your roots and dive into some more self healing so that you can then be able to branch out again and help those around you.

Questions to ponder:

• Have I done the inner work needed to be able to be of service to others? 

• What personal narratives am I telling that might be keeping me stuck, feeling like a victim, or feeling unlovable?  How can I rewrite these stories?

• What listening practices do I have? 

• What can I do to listen better so that I can gauge when it is the right time to share in a powerful way? 

• What coping mechanisms do I have to keep me emotionally connected in a healthy way? 

• Am I able to be present in the emotional energy around me without getting too entangled or losing myself in the moment?
